Part A- Liability Coverage
This sections provides coverage for bodily injury or physical damage after loss that you are legally responsible for. It also provides for the "duty to defend" until the limit is exhausted. If there is no coverage against the claim or suit, though, there is no duty to defend. The liability is either a CSL, Combined Single Limit, or a split limit. 50/100/25 relates to the limit of liability for bodily injury per person/per accident/property damage.
Part B- Medical Payments
This is used for medical expenses or funeral costs from bodily injury to you, your passengers or family member in your auto during an accident.
